TAUNTON paid the price for not taking opportunities when they fell to them, and Basingstoke snatched a point with a stoppage-time equaliser.
On a stiflingly hot afternoon, the Peacocks scored in the second minute – their third-straight game with an early goal – when Owen Brain controlled Niall Thompson’s astute pass and finished neatly.
