ST Ives can only blame themselves for dropping two points to a late equaliser in a game that they should have put to bed well before Bishop’s substitute Fabio Virciglio scored a well taken equaliser in the 91st minute.
The visitors came into this game on a high having put four past Needham Market on Tuesday, but it was the hosts that started on top with skipper Michael Richens hitting the post in the fifth minute and Liam Cross firing wide from a good position only 90 seconds later.
