LIAM McDONALD’S reign as Kettering boss began with a goalless draw but fans will be encouraged by a marked improvement in the team’s performance.
Many of the chances fell to the Poppies and when debutant Kai Williams shot wide after intercepting an errant pass in the St Ives third, supporters thought it was a matter of time for an opening goal.
