TABLE-TOPPING Spalding were knocked off their perch and fell to their first defeat on their new 3G surface as a cracking counter performance from St Ives claimed maximum reward in stoppage time.
An early goal on the break put the visitors in front when ex Ives keeper James Dadge rashly raced from his area to try and prevent Theo Alexandrou getting on to Jahrel McKoy’s perfectly weighted through ball. The Ives striker won the race and calmly picked out the unmarked Liam Cross in centre to head home.
