POPPIES bloomed in the murky conditions of Latimer Park to smash five goals past Stourbridge in a perfect second-half performance.
Debutant Eddie Panter made an immediate impact for his new side and could have been the hero within seven minutes when a cross flashed across goal but he was unable to get the final touch.
Despite nuggetty defence from the Glassboys in the first half, they were unable to keep the hosts at bay in the second.
