Chairman Andy Pountney is cautiously optimistic that Stourbridge can resolve the ground-related problems that are stifling on-field progress.
The Step 3 Glassboys have been grappling with the impacts of two long steep banks next to the perimeter of the War Memorial Athletic Ground deteriorating to the point where stands and floodlights must be taken down due to safety concerns.
It meant special dispensation was required for the venue to host Southern League Premier Division Central football this season with sections of the ground cordoned off.
