CHERTSEY claimed victory at Bulpit Lane thanks to a second-half penalty, though the contest was marred by a controversial first-half incident that forced Hungerford goalkeeper Luke Cairney off.
Loan-signing Kasway Burton, recently arrived from Oxford United, made a lively start and fashioned three opportunities within the opening quarter of an hour.
