ST IVES Town’s defensive display should go into the coaching manuals as a lesson on how to defend against intense pressure.
Real Bedford started the game stronger, with Conor Tee putting a good chance over the bar, while Archie Jones saw his chance saved by Ollie Taylor.
However, it was the visitors who drew first blood on 26 minutes as Duncan Idehen scored his first goal of the season with an excellent header.
