A TWO-GOAL blast just before half-time was enough to hand Stratford the spoils against a dogged Alvechurch side.
The visitors started the better but wayward finishing from Kieran Wakefield and Jonny Ngandu ensured it remained goalless.
Stratford came to life in the latter stages of the half with Lewis Ison having an effort cleared off the line before Owen James made the breakthrough on 35 minutes, turning in the loose ball after Dan Vann’s effort had been blocked.
