NEEDHAM Market picked up their second straight win inflicting defeat on in-form Stratford Town, who had won their last six outings.
Joe Neal was denied by Jake Weaver early on, while Dan Morphew’s towering header from Hammond’s corner was denied by the post and Weaver on the line.
Ben Hunter turned Jamie Mauge’s low ball narrowly wide, as Needham remained on top, albeit the game fell tentative until the 41st minute.
