DESPITE a strong finish Royston were unable to salvage anything from a tightly fought game as Quorn claimed the three points from their first visit to Garden Walk.
Having beaten the Reds earlier in the season the home side were looking to do the double, but soon found themselves behind.
The away team had already had two close efforts with Zak Goodson shooting narrowly wide, before he fizzed a ball across the goal that Finn O’Coyle couldn’t apply the finishing touch to.
