KETTERING inflicted a harsh defeat on Needham Market, as the Poppies picked up successive victories while the Market-men suffered a second straight defeat.
Ben Hunter drove an early strike wide for the home side, albeit Kettering broke the deadlock in the seventh minute
Lewis Coyle was expertly denied by James Brad-brook in the Needham goal, but the ball fell to Wesley York to slam home.
Needham replied as Myles Cowling won the hosts a penalty after a foul from George Forsyth in the 20th minute.
