BANBURY moved eighth with a resilient come-from-behind victory over a competitive Alvechurch side.
In an open end-to-end match, United almost benefitted from Redman Evans’ casual clearance with Chis Wreh unable to capitalise on the goalkeeper’s first-minute error.
The game switched to the other end in an instant, Josh Flanagan forced to block an Emmanuel Ilesanmi effort.
That set the pattern for the first half with both teams going for it but despite this neither keeper was seriously tested.
