IN A game of two halves, both teams had to settle for a point but Wimborne will be disappointed that they didn’t gain all three after a dominant first-half performance.
They took the lead after just four minutes when following a long throw from Owen Roundell-Prince, the ball fell to Ajani Burchall, whose shot from ten yards found the back of the net.
James Ollis had a good chance to equalise three minutes later but after breaking free, his poor touch allowed goalkeeper Oscar Abbotson to beat him to the ball and avert the danger.
