FOURTH-placed Quorn extended their unbeaten run to four matches with a 2-0win at home to Banbury United yesterday.
Before the game began, both sides came together to pay tribute to Simon Pearce with a minute’s applause for a Banbury fan and volunteer sadly passed away in the week.
United shaded the opening stages of the game as they looked to extend their nine-game unbeaten
run but found themselves behind after ten minutes when a cross found its way to Cain Noble at the back post and he looped a header over the goalkeeper.
