ON a warm, bright afternoon at Bulpit Lane, Hungerford Town were made to settle for a point after a fiercely contested draw with Sholing.
The game’s first flashpoint arrived inside the opening minute. Thomas Conteh beat goalkeeper Jack Turner to a loose clearance and lofted the ball goalward, only for Turner to appear to handle outside the box as he pushed it away. Referee Josh Osofa waved away furious Hungerford appeals, leaving the home crowd stunned.
