Frustrated Yate give Curfews a real scare

PLAY-OFF rivals Yate and Chertsey Town played out a frustrating draw, a result which likely suited the home side more.
The Curfews found themselves in a catchup situation, having had to equalise in both halves. Improvements will be needed in Monday’s difficult test at table-toppers Walton & Hersham, while the Bluebells return home to face a seemingly easier match-up with Yate Town.
Their opener arrived in the 18th-minute, with Dani González-Birchall astutely volleying on the edge of the area, following a fortuitous bounce.
