BASINGSTOKE defeated relegated Tiverton to ensure Step Three football for a third season in a row.
Tiverton had the first chance in the second minute, but George Collins saw his effort drift wide.
It took until the tenth minute for Basingstoke to fashion out their first meaningful opportunity. Robbie Gallagher played Joe Grant in behind but his venomous half-volley smashed the Tiverton bar.
