GLOUCESTER CITY bounced back with a hard-fought victory over Hanwell Town, securing their first home win this season.
The visitors started the brighter of the two sides, putting a number of dangerous crosses into the City box, but the hosts dealt with the early pressure well.
City’s Ethan Dunbar was unable to find a yellow and red shirt following a promising move, and the pressure continued with Harry Williams’ penalty appeals, which were waved away.
