■KEEPERS Paul White and Dan Platt needed to be at their best as Kettering and Halesowen shared the points.
Within five minutes the Yeltz were in the lead after a well-worked free kick completely opened up the home defence, and Jason Cowley was all alone to brilliantly lob the startled White.
Despite Kettering dominating possession, the visitors continued to counter with purpose and White needed to be on form to keep out Jim Kellermann’s shot and Vanylson Silva’s header.
