WALTHAM Abbey moved up to third in the table with this hard-fought victory as the Woods slipped to a second defeat in a week.
The Abbotts had already hit the post through Billy Holland when Ronnie Winn put them ahead on 15 minutes, chipping a long ball over goalkeeper Luke Sheldrick and into an empty net, a stunning and measured finish for the visiting side.
