BOWERS CLEAR AT SUMMIT

A DAVID KNIGHT double helped Bowers & Pitsea move six points clear at the top of the North Division with a 3-0 win over Witham Town.
After dominating in the opening stages, the league leaders went ahead when Tom Stephen picked out Knight at the back post and he sent a looping header over Luca Collins.
Witham nearly equalised five minutes later when Andy Wilton produced a great save to deny Ayo Adukoya but Rob Small’s men remained in front at half-time.
