STABILITY is the key word at Whitehawk’s Enclosed Ground this summer – that is, of course, if anyone understands it!
The Hawks are celebrating the end of their first summer in four seasons where they haven’t had to reassemble a whole new squad from scratch.
Such instability has resulted in back-to-back relegations for the Sussex club but boss Jude MacDonald, who helped blood the younger members of the squad into first-team football as Under 18s chief, believes this newfound team ethic will help the club stop the rot.
