CANVEY ISLAND 4 HEYBRIDGE SWIFTS 4

A THRILLING clash saw the spoils shared as Canvey Island and Heybridge Swifts played out a draw.
Heybridge took the lead on 13 minutes when Matt Price headed home from Emmanuel Osei’s left wing cross.
They doubled their advantage on 24 minutes when former Canvey man George Cocklin poked home.
Ernest Okoh pulled a goal back from the penalty spot for Canvey on 37 minutes, but Evans Kouassi restored Heybridge’s two goal cushion before the break.
