BARKING have swooped to sign striker Georgie Fairhead – and it was no surprise they knew all about him!
Fairhead played for the Blues' previous tenants at Mayesbrook Park, West Essex FC, who play in the Essex Senior League.
He tweeted: “Very happy to sign for Barking FC! Can't wait to get started and bring on the new season!”
Fairhead's capture is another statement of intent from Barking, who have been switched from the Isthmian South Central to the North Division.
The Blues have also signed Jay Leader, Elliot Omozusi, Charlie Mac- Donald and James Folkes as they gear up for the new season.
Former Brentford and MK Dons striker Mac- Donald will bring bags of experience to the Blues at the age of 40.
