Sittingbourne building for a brighter future

will be able to deliver on their plans to become more inclusive after landing a new two-year stadium sponsorship deal.

Woodstock Park will be renamed the Jarmans Solicitors Stadium following the investment from the town's largest law firm.

The financial support means the Brickies will be able to fund a new academy and additional youth teams, as well as developing disabled and walking football programmes.

Delighted Sittingbourne chairman Maurice Dunk said: “Having just retired after 36 years within the legal profession, I have seen firsthand how potent a force a partnership like this can be. Our new collaboration should help both our organisations and our local community. The future is no doubt looking very good!”

The club's company secretary Peter Pitts added: “We not only host the men's side, but 13 additional teams for youngsters aged seven to 18.

“With the new sponsorship backing, we will be able to expand into disabled and walking football programmes as well. We are very grateful to Jarmans for helping to ensure that Sittingbourne FC can remain a true ‘football for the community' club.”
