■ VCD ATHLETIC were eventually convincing winners – but it took time.
The first half was fairly even with the best chances going the way of VCD, which they squandered until just before half-time when a crosss found Youssef Bamba in space on the edge of the box to fire home into the corner.
Grinstead were forced into two changes which disrupted them but started the second half well and equalised through Marco Sousa Pina.
East Grinstead started to get the upper hand and VCD seemed to tire but a very poor defensive display handed VCD the points with three goal...
