It was the visitors who had the interval lead courtesy of Roman Campbell. They held it until the 57th minute when Jake Clowsley tapped home.
Within a minute, Tilbury were back in front when Oliver Spooner fired home, before the Essex side suffered a setback when Ryan Boswell was dismissed following two cautions.
