■ SUTTON Common claimed three important points from the first senior meeting between these sides.
Depleted by injuries, Staines shaded the first half, but were rocked by a Rovers goal after 48 minutes and sunk by an 85th-minute penalty.
Newcomers Timi Oshineyi and Stanley Anum promised much for Staines early on in the match.
