■ ISMALLA Diallo’s late winner brought lowly Lancing a hard-earned victory over table-topping Valley.
After Darius Goldsmith’s low drive opened the scoring for the visitors in the sixth minute, Valley enjoyed long spells of possession without creating any clear-cut opportunities until Connor Dymond fired in a low equaliser just after the hour.
Valley’s frustration was evident three minutes from time when Cem Tumkaye saw a second yellow card for a dangerous challenge on Finn Daniels-Yoemans.
