NEW Aveley boss Danny Scopes says he is delighted with his early recruitment as he looks to push the Millers towards a promotion push.
Scopes has extended the loan of Jon Benton from Southend United abd promoted Alfie Whiteaker from the academy, along with three other young hopefuls.
On Benton, the former Concord Rangers boss said: “We are pleased that we have been able to extend Jon Benton's loan and help him in his development further and he has fitted into the group well as a player and a person with his performances having the fans of their seats at times.
“Alfie is working hard to learn the senior game. He is another good person and trainer to have around.”
