■ A FINE finish from Josh Stirman earned Corinthian all three points in a tight encounter with Phoenix Sports.
The hosts started well with Josh Dorling’s header forcing Aiden Prall into an excellent save in the second minute.
Corinthian then scored the only goal when Stirman cut in from the right and unleashed a superb left-footed effort into a top corner.
Either side of the break Malaki Toussaint took aim from long range, but was unable to draw Phoenix level.
It was one-way traffic in the final ten minutes, but there was no way past the Corint...
