■VCD ATHLETIC picked up a straight-forward win at home to Whitstable putting threet three past the travelling side without reply.
The hosts didn’t take long to get underway as Youssef Bamba bagged his first of the day in the 7th minute.
Bamba then added to his tally on the day with his second arriving in the 52nd minute.
VCD rubbed salt in the wounds of the visitors with five minutes to go thanks to Ben Gorham’s headed effort.
