■ CANVEY Island staged a stunning comeback in the last seven minutes to preserve their position at the top.
Barking took the lead after 32 minutes when George Purcell headed in from 25 yards, and doubled their advantage three minutes later when Kieran Jones steered the ball in. The Gulls pulled one back from the spot after 83 minutes after captain Elliot Omozusi handled in the area, with Matthew Price dispatching.
