■ HANWELL narrowed the gap between themselves and local rivals Uxbridge to a single point with this well-deserved victory.
The first half was dominated by the defences and, at the interval, only a Harry Rush tap-in, after Tom Collins had had his close-range effort scrambled off the line, separated the sides.
