■ NORTHWOOD won at home for the first time since September with a crucial win over third-placed Marlow.
Woods started well with Josh Helmore and Sydney Ibie threatening. But the hosts were indebted to keeper Dan Hosier, who pulled off a series of saves before the break to deny Nmadi Nwachuku and Junaid Bell respectively.
Hosier saved again from Nwachuku after the restart, before Northwood took the lead through Helmore after 53 minutes with a clinical finish.
Woods went close to adding a second as Micah Jackson’s free-kick shaved the upright....
