A TIGHT and frantic match was settled in Hythe’s favour through a second-half brace from Riley Alford.
It was a deserved win after a dominant second-half display but there was a nervous finish thanks to Marcus Elliott pulling one back with eight minutes left.
Faverham’s main threat came from the long throws of Lewis Chambers, but Hythe’s defence and keeper, Henry Newcombe, kept out the bombardment.
