■ FIRST-half goals from Marcel Barrington and Anthony Edgar proved sufficient for Valley to withstand a spirited Brickies second-half fightback.
Nathan Green’s left-wing cross was superbly volleyed home by Barrington in the six-yard box to give Valley an early lead, before Edgar drove low past Charlie Taylor from 20 yards just before the interval.
