■ SOUTH Park and StainesTown had to settle for a point each in a game of very few chances played on a difficult surface.
Dickson’s through ball found Hill whose curling shot came back off the post in the fourth minute and this was to prove the best chance of the game as both sides struggled to test the opposing keeper. Torbett then hit a shot wide for Staines before half time.
The second half saw Swaby’s shot saved by Bonnett. A long throw form South Park dropped to Faithorn, whose shot on the turn was blocked.
