AFTER three successive defeats, Sittingbourne returned to winning ways against Haywards Heath with what in the end was a comfortable home win.
Play-off chasing Haywards Heath will be disappointed with the way their challenge faded badly in the second half after the home side edged a close first half through skipper Kane Rowlands’ sixth goal of the season, scored on the half-hour mark.
The home side started the second period brilliantly and had the game effectively wrapped up with half an hour still to play.
