■HAYWARDS Heathincreased their chances of making the play-offs with victory in a dour game at Hythe Town.
The early exchanges were fairly even with Hythe having the first chance as Riley Alford attempted to lob Haywards Heath keeper Billy Fillings, but it went just past an upright.
Soon after, the visitors had a chance as Trevor McCreadie turned and shot, but Henry Newcombe saved well.
Haywards Heath finally broke through after 35 minutes as Tom Cadman surged in from the left to plant the ball into the right side of the net.
