■ Ben Pope and Finn FIRST-HALF goals from O’Mara secured a win for Hastings United and opened up a 12-point lead at the top of the division.
Early crosses from Tom Chalmers and James Hull were defended well by Three Bridges but they had no answer when a perfectly timed pass was headed like a bullet by Pope and gave the goalkeeper no chance.
Pope then had a chance to double the lead but missed from the spot.
It didn’t matter though as in the 18th minute Craig Stone delivered a perfect cross to O’Mara who headed home.
