■ WITHAM dented Grays’ promotion push as they executed their game plan to perfection.
After going a goal behind early on, they soaked up Grays’ pressure and broke quickly, exposing their hosts lack of pace at the heart of their defence.
Ryan Melaugh put Grays in front after four minutes but, despite the lion’s share of play, failed to increase their lead.
