■ MALDON & Tiptree cruised to a comfortable win at Great Wakering.
After a 15-minute delay caused by the late arrival of two match officials, Maldon started the better side.
The longer the first half went on, the more Rovers got into the game but after 40 minutes it was Shomari Barnwell who opened the scoring for Maldon.
The second half was a lot closer with Rovers starting well and getting more of the ball. Nevertheless, Maldon extended their lead after 64 minutes through Robert Clark.
