■THE late kick off due to kit being lost on the  Guernsey aeroplane set back the visitors to Alwyns Lane – and they never recovered.
Chertsey Town were always in control with goals arriving throughout the exchange at regular interval with the first coming after 28 minutes with Jake Baxter sweeping the ball home from 20 yards.
The same striker increased the lead 11 minutes later with a glancing header from a deep Andy Crossley free-kick.
