Boachie poaches victory at Gate

JOSEPH Boachie’s 70th minute winner gave Potters Bar the points from a typical end-of-season encounter on the South Coast.
Margate started brightly with chances for James Bessey-Saldanha, Fyn Rutherford and Ben Swift in the first ten minutes.
The visitors had their first opportunity when ex Gate player Norman Wabo threaded the ball through to Boachie but Gate keeper Ben Bridle-Card bravely saved at the strikers feet.
Sadly, Wabo then suffered an unfortunate ankle injury in the 37th minute and had to be stretchered off.
