■ THE points were shared as Binfield held on with ten men.
The first 30 minutes were controlled by Binfield, who looked up for it and were getting into good positions, but struggling to challenge Tyler Tobin in the Uxbridge goal. The game changed in the 37th minute when the referee showed Binfield midfielder Lewis Pegg a straight red card for a strong challenge.
Binfield did well to react and got through to half-time at 0-0. Going down to ten meant that, understandably, Binfield’s plan was changed to surviving for a point and they did survive...
