■ AVELEY eased past Witham Town to continue their promotion form.
There was little difference between the sides in the early stages and Witham took a shock lead in the 13th minute through Adam Vyse.
It took another 13 for Aveley to equalise through Ryan Scott and yet another 13 later Garrett Kelly headed Aveley ahead.
Scott headed Aveley’s third from a free-kick just after the break and the superiority of the visitors became evident.
