■ GRAYS came out on top in this entertaining encounter in a classic “six--pointer” with the win keeping Grays in the play-offs.
The first period produced goal chances at either end, with the hosts just edging it.
Hashtag rallied and Luke Hirst went close at the the other end, but it was Melaugh who came closest forcing Carlos Simeon into a save.
Grays broke the deadlock after 50 minutes when Lewis Clark stabbed home after a goalmouth scramble.
