■ EAST Grinstead gained a valuable point in their fight at the foot of the table as Sittingbourne stuttered in their outside chance of reaching the play-offs.
The visitors set their defensive stall out early in the game, having ten men behind the ball for long periods and Sittingbourne huffed and puffed without being able to break through.
The closest they came to a goal was in the first half when Taylor Fisher was denied well by Sam Freeman with Toby Bancroft’s follow-up effort blocked.
